# Shared settings

> Share settings and templates across all local projects.

Settings and templates can be stored either in the project or shared globally. Project-specific values always override shared settings.

It’s best practice to keep anything you want to reuse across projects in Shared Settings.

Shared settings and templates are stored in **Documents/Daytalog/LocalShared**
